Where does the STONED marble come from?
All marble used for our designs is from Turkish origin. Except for the green marble, that is from India.
Can I use a STONED marble board as a cutting board?
We designed the boards to be serving boards, but of course you can use it as a cutting board also. Please be aware that – just as every other cutting board – cutting may leave marks. When cutting on stone on a regular basis you may need to sharpen your knives more often.
I forgot to use my 10% discount code on my first order?
Unfortunately, we can’t refund you the 10% discount after you have made your order. But you can still add it to your next order!
Why does my 10% discount code not work?
When you subscribe to our newsletter you will receive an e-mail to ‘Join the Stoned family’. In this e-mail - next to a discount code - you will find a ‘subscribe’ button. For the discount code to work you will need to confirm your subscription and set up a personal account at stonedamsterdam.com
I haven’t received an order confirmation email.
Did you check your spambox? If you are still not able to find the confirmation email, no worries! We can resend it. Please contact us at customercare@stonedamsterdam.com and make sure you include your name and email address.
Can I change or cancel my order once its placed?
If your order is not processed yet, we will be able to change of cancel it. Please e-mail us at customercare@stonedamsterdam.com. Our warehouse team is fast though. Once an order is processed we are not able to cancel or change your order. Of course it is possible to return the parcel and receive a refund or place a second order for additional products. Can I track my order?
Sure. A tracking number will be sent so you can track your order any time you like.
I’ve received a wrong or faulty item, what should I do?
Sorry about that. If you have received a wrong or faulty item please contact us at customercare@stonedamsterdam.com. Send a clear photo together with your order number.
We will then send you a return label, which will allow you to return your order to us at our expense. We will replace the item - if in stock - or get you a full refund.
My order got damaged through transport, what should I do?
So sorry to hear that! If the item you ordered arrived damaged, please contact us at customercare@stonedamsterdam.com. Send us your order number together with extra footage.
- A photo of the opened package taken from above. The entire contents of the inner packaging must be clearly visible.
- A photo of the product as a whole.
- A clear photo of the damage.
We will then send you a return label, which will allow you to return your order to us at our expense. We will replace the item - if in stock - or give you a full refund.
What should I do if I miss an item from my order?
We are sorry if something went wrong with processing your order. Please contact us directly at customercare@stonedamsterdam.com and make sure to include your order number and details of the missing product. Our team will make sure you receive your missing item as soon as possible.
Do I need to set up an account to place an order?
To place an order you don’t need to set up an account first. However, creating an account does have benefits:
- Your details will be remembered and entered immediately with your next order.
- You can find an overview of your order history.
- We keep you informed of our new collections, promotions and more.
What if an item is out of stock?
When an item is out of stock it is possible to get notified by e-mail as soon as an item is available again. Next to the item you like to buy you will find a pink button saying ‘Notify Me’. Hit that button and leave your e-mail address for a notification.
Sometimes it is possible to pre-order an item when it is out of stock. In that case it is clearly indicated that it concerns a pre-order. An indication for delivery is stated in the product description then.
What payment methods does stonedamsterdam.com accept?
You can pay for your order with iDeal, credit card, Paypal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Klarna, Bancontact, Sofort, and SEPA.
Do you ship internationally?
We offer worldwide shipping, with a few exceptions. Please check Shipping & Delivery for details.
If I place an order from outside the EU, will I be charged extra fees?
If you live outside the EU and want to order something from our website, import duties and taxes may apply. Please check Shipping & Delivery for details.
How quickly are orders shipped?
We aim to ship within 1 to 2 business days - if the item is in stock of course. For orders placed on weekends or during public holidays, orders will be processed the next business day. Should there be an issue with your order, we will of course contact you as soon as possible.
What is the return period?
You can return your item(s) within 14 days.
How does my refund work?
Once your return has been received in our warehouse and processed you will receive an email confirmation. The amount will be refunded into the account where the original payment came from within 7 working days. Shipping costs of returning items are fully worn by the customer.
How come Square Board L does not fit my IKEA Vikhammer?
Square Board L is meant as a kitchen and/or serving board. Recently an influencer used it as a top for an IKEA Vikhammer night stand. The ‘ikea hack’ works out fine, but our boards were not produced to seamlessly fit that particular night stand. Our boards are 40 x 40 centimeters while the night stands are 40 x 39 centimeters. Most ‘hackers’ leave that 1 centimeter extra marble in the back since there often is room because of the skirting.
